Q&A

Why are class sizes limited?

Workshops will be limited to no more than 8 in a teaching group, although the club will be limited to 12. This ensures everyone in the class has access to the level of support and teaching they need. Also to ensure everyone can work safely in the work space. Health and safety is a priority, checking of equipment and risk assessments are in place.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, fully covered for 3rd party liability insurance. Please ask to see policy if you are at all concerned.

What if I’m unhappy about anything?

It is our priority that everyone is satisfied with their learning and is happy whilst attending a class. Firstly, please have a quiet word with your teacher if you are at all concerned about anything class related and we will aim to discuss and implement an agreed solution. If this does not resolve your complaint, and the fault is with ‘Sew Together’ we will not hesitate to refund for classes where the client has not received the experience expected.

I have a disability, can I attend a Sew Together class?

We want the classes and workshops to be available to all that want it, although it is anticipated that the class be accessible to those who have ability to operate a sewing machine. The venues have been chosen to enable those with impaired mobility to access the premises. Please do email or phone the class teacher to discuss individual requirements as we will do all we can to make the class accessible to all.
