Wednesday teaching session

This is a new session, starting in September 2022. I have found that making something in one of our weekend workshops can be quite full on so this is for those looking for a more leisurely sewing opportunity. It is for all level of sewer, but particularly aimed at beginners and improvers. You can work on any project of your choice, clothing, home furnishings, bags etc…

The session is run by Jan G and it runs for 6 ‘terms’ each year, each ‘term’ is around 5 sessions.

The times of the class are 12.30-2.30pm, although please feel free to set up from 12.15pm to enable a prompt start.

The fee for each block of 5-6 sessions will be £50-60 depending on number of weeks (calculated on a £10 a week fee) and this is payable whether you attend or not.

I will include a short 10-15 minute teaching section each session on specific skills, i.e. buttonholes, zips, gathering, whatever is requested, and I will be on hand for advice on the project you bring too.

I will bring the shared equipment etc.

This is intended to be a smaller teaching group so the maximum number will be 8.

Also, joining this group will give you priority for joining the ‘club’ that runs earlier on a Wednesday. Please let me know if this is of interest to you.

Venue: Youth in Romsey (map).

Term 1: Cost £60 – April 17th, 24th, May 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd,
